Who we are

Multistate Broker of Record is a broker of record practice run by David Montalvo, a licensed real estate broker based in Austin, Texas. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Multistate Broker of Record.

What we collect

• What you send us. If you use the contact form, email us, or call, we receive what you give us: usually your name, role, company, email, phone number, the states you operate in, and a description of your business.
• Booking a call. If you book a call, the scheduling tool collects your name, email, the time you pick, and anything you add to the booking.
• Site usage. We use Google Analytics to see how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and how people arrive. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects device and browser information. It does not tell us who you are.

How we use it

We use what you send us to reply to your inquiry, prepare a quote, and, if we work together, run the engagement. We use site usage data to improve the site. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who else handles it

A few service providers process information on our behalf so the site works: Formspree delivers contact form submissions to our inbox, Google provides email, calendar booking, and analytics, and Netlify hosts the site. If we work together, we share information with state real estate regulators where the license filings require it. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Inquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept only as long as they are useful for following up. If we work together, records are kept as long as the engagement lasts and as long after as state real estate record-keeping rules require.

Your choices

• You can ask us what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless we are required to keep it.
• You can block or delete cookies in your browser, or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
• You can ask us to stop emailing you at any time.
